The Inaugural Art du Bien-Être Hotel Makeover
One independent hotel. One documented transformation.
Art du Bien-Être is selecting one independent boutique hotel in France for its inaugural Hotel Makeover. The transformation will include branding, website design, photography, film and social media, with the entire process documented as our first case study. It will show how a hotel can preserve its character while becoming easier for English-speaking guests to discover, understand and book.
An independently owned boutique hotel in France that is not part of a franchise. The owner must be available to work directly with Art du Bien-Être throughout the transformation.
The hotel must either fall within the bottom third of comparable properties for recent guest reviews or have too few reviews to establish a strong reputation across booking and public review platforms, like Booking.com and Trustpilot.
The existing website must fall below current standards in its design, photography, written presentation and guest journey. The opportunity for meaningful, visible improvement must be clear.
The hotel must have a singularly French forward presentation and an inconsistent, ineffective or nonexistent social media presence, with little or no meaningful connection to English speaking guests.
The selected hotel must permit photography, film and documentation of the process. No professional fee will be charged for the inaugural transformation. The selected hotel’s contribution will be limited to accommodation and meals during the on-property work, plus any incidental project expenses agreed in advance.
